CATERING, FOOD TRUCK & VENUE HIRE
Our food truck has been serving up delicious kai all over the South Island for the past eight years. We know what's good.
We can cater up to 200 people and we'd love to be a part of your next event.
All options below can be delivered, cooked hot and fresh via our food truck or you can dine in our beer garden at our addington location - free hire of our spaces when you spend over $2500, fully licenced bar services available too.

Frequently Asked Catering Questions
Do you have a venue we can hire?
Short answer: YES! At Addington we can book our restaurant for up to 50 people and our outdoor beer garden for up to 150 people. If you need more, our food truck can cater for up to 200 people and they can be all served within an hour. No booking fee if spend is over $1500.00
Do I have to pay up front?
We require a 40% non refundable deposit to secure your date. We will then need full payment 7 days before the day of the event. Any extra from the day can be processed via a washup invoice.
Is there a booking fee?
Yes, we have a $225 booking fee with covers booking and admin costs. We waive this fee on the food truck if your spend is over $2000.00, or over $1500.00 when booking our addington venue.
Can you serve gluten/dairy free or vegan?
We can cater for most dietary requirements but must know in advance. Gluten free, dairy free and vegan available. We cannot serve coeliac people as we can't guarantee zero contamination from flour.

Can you serve alcohol on the food truck?
We currently cannot serve alcohol on the food truck, but that may come in the future! If you purchase the alcohol we can serve it for you for an extra charge. Our venue at Addington is fully licenced and can cater all your needs.
Does your food truck require anything or can you pop up in a field in the middle of nowhere?
We prefer to have power provided, but can run a generator for an extra $100 per hour of service. With the generator we are fully self sustainable.
Do you cater out of town (Christchurch)?
Yes! We have been as far south as Cromwell and as far north as Kaikoura, catering out of town is not a problem. We have a travel charge of $3.75 per km tavelled each way to help cover all our costs associated with long distance travel. We don't charge for events within 10km of the CBD (centered on Empire Chicken Addington).
How long do you serve for?
Typically we will show up and serve you guests as quickly as we can to keep people happy and fed. We allow roughly 1 hour for this. If you would like us to keep serving over a longer period there will be a $150.00 charge per extra hour required.
When do you need to arrive?
We will need to arrive 1 hour before you need us to serve to get everything set up in time. We will usually be gone 1 hour after service ends. for example: arrive 11am, service 12-1pm, pack out by 2pm.
